And much more!
The more frequently you attend classes, the more quickly you will see and feel results. Two
classes per week are recommended. Sue offers ongoing classes in Deer Park and soon to be other
places in Houston. Click on "Yoga Classes" for complete schedule and registration information.
Classes are guided from the tradition of Krishnamacharya and Desikachar. Krishnamacharya lived to
100 years of age and made his transition in 1989. Desikachar, his son, currently lives in India and
passes on the teachings of his father to a worldwide audience through the Krishnamacharya Healing
Yoga Foundation. Visit www.khyf.net for more information.
This tradition offers a practice suitable for beginners, and provides a new awareness and challenge for
experienced yoga practitioners. All will feel refreshed, renewed, and rejuvenated! This approach to
Yoga emphasizes:
-
Diaphragmatic breathing
-
Coordination of breath and movement
-
Selected use of repetition and holds in postures
-
Unique adaptations and modifications of each posture
-
Attention to biomechanics for balanced and effective practice
